To Fulfill all that is Written

In Luke 21, Jesus gives an prophecy of staggering events that revolve around Jerusalem and His second coming. In the middle of His prophecy, He says that this period of time will be the “days of vengeance” which will fulfill all that is written. It’s important to understand what the prophets said about the “days of vengeance” and the role they play in the fulfillment of prophecy.

Understanding the Covenants and the Prophets

The Biblical narrative is ultimately undergirded by the biblical covenants. The covenants are the means by which God’s redemptive plan unfolds and it is important to understand these covenant to understand biblical history, God’s present work in the nations, and the how His work in the nations will conclude.

How do We Train Prophets?

We know how to train teachers, pastors, and evangelists, but who knows how to prepare prophets for God’s confrontation with the nations? When God decided to challenge Pharaoh, He sent His prophet to announce His judgments and when He decides to challenge all the Pharaoh’s of the earth, He will again send His prophets to announce His coming and present His demands.
