Lessons from the life of John the Baptist that give insight into God’s desire for communion and His process for forming messengers.
Paul is the only person in the New Testament other than Jesus we are called to imitate. His life is foundational to the New Testament church. However, Paul’s apostolic ministry cannot be understood apart from John the Baptist because Paul built on John’s foundation.
We desperately need messengers sent from the presence of God for the sake of the nation and the sake of the people. These messengers need a prophetic perspective – meaning a perspective that comes from the Word of God and views the nations through God’s perspective.
